Who is Jhallu?

Jhallu is not just a name — it’s a journey, a realization, and a voice.

Born as Sunil Dahal in Bara, Nepal, he was a kind-hearted soul from childhood. He loved singing — from bhajans to classical, lok to modern — and entertained everyone with his voice. From an early age, he dreamed of becoming a singer.

Gradually, his love for music became deeper. He joined vocal classes, where his classical strength was polished. During one of the programs, he wrote his first rap song, not just expressing personal pain — but speaking boldly about the corruption, injustice, and the broken condition of the country. His words reflected the emotions of thousands who felt unheard. That performance became more than just a rhyme — it was a rebellion, wrapped in rhythm.

Later, he entered the underground scene through Lion Gang Cypher, and slowly began his journey into hip-hop. At first, he worked silently as a producer, building beats and exploring sound. As he wrote more, rapped more, and observed more — he began refining his art.

He wasn't following trends — he was searching for his identity. That’s when the inner question began: “Who am I?” The answer revealed itself through art, pain, and time: “I am Jhallu.”

Back in 2011–2012, he randomly wrote “Jhallu” on Facebook. He didn’t plan to be a rapper or build a world from that name. It just felt right — and he added “bro” as his surname, because it gave a hip-hop vibe. Today in 2025, he looks back and says, “I never knew that name would define me.”

Maybe it wasn’t random. Maybe God designed his birth, his name, and his path through karma. Today, Jhallu is not a character — he is the artist, the soul, and the voice.

“Jhallu” is his truth. “Jhallu Bro” is the performer. “CJack” is the silent producer within.

Today in 2025, Jhallu stands at a new beginning. His debut album Bhawana tells the story of how pain became art. His website, jhallu.com, is more than a platform — it’s a universe.

From Jhallu to Jhallu Bro, he lived as a rapper. Now, as he evolves further, he introduces a new name: CJack — his producer identity. CJack is the one behind the beats, the builder of emotion through sound.

He believes the story is bigger than himself. This is for all unheard voices. For the broken. For the bold. For those who ask — “Ma ko ho?”

And the answer they hear back is: “Timi pani Jhallu hau, afno bhawana bolne manche.”
